Yesterday I attended the Major’s Expo in the student center.
I learned a lot about my major in Communication disorders and pursuing my
career. I’m really excited to start taking classes toward my major next
semester. I learned that the website for Communication Disorders on the SCSU
website has really helpful information including the types of courses and a
description, fields of employment, info on the graduate program, and much more!
Although I
learned a lot about my major, I also went with my friend Amanda who is a
psychology major. This semester I’m taking a psychology class and it has turned
out to be very interesting and probably my favorite class. After learning more
about majoring in psychology I am considering making psychology a minor.
I encourage
all students to take advantage of events going on, on campus especially if the
event is major related. You never know, you could discover something that you
love!
