Video Project: Introduction 2 College 4 Highschool Seniors

At first, I wanted to get this project done and over with but it turns out I actually had some fun while making it. Overall, I think my video turned out pretty good because it is informative, while entertaining. In high school I took a video production class so I had some basic background knowledge on how to use iMovie. My video probably could have been even better if I had more experience on how to use the program to make slight adjustments.
I managed my time very efficiently while working on this project and it paid off in the end. Ironically, one of the topics talked about in my video was about time management and not leaving things till the last minute. One day last week, during my break in between classes, I got most of my video taping out of the way. The next day I finished up gathering my information, then, I was able to begin putting it all together. Completing this project ahead of time, I didn’t feel stressed out or pressured so I was able to take my time and perfect little details.  Another reason I’m glad I completed it early is because when I went to finalize my video and upload it to YouTube, I encountered a few problems. If this happened the night it was due I would definitely of been worried and stressed out rushing to fix the problem at hand and submit it before the deadline.
I feel my video is informative because it expresses real college students opinions based on their experiences. Therefore, it could be helpful for incoming freshman to take their advice to make the transition into college easier. My video was also entertaining because it was physically appealing to look at with pictures, transitions, and effects. Also the video included upbeat music instead of silence.
While interviewing students and faculty, I found that I could relate to their advice because a lot of what was mentioned, we had talked about in our Inquiry class. My video is definitely useful to incoming freshman and even current college students.
